We are YOUR central resource for finding where to find and taste Wine, Gin, Vodka and Beer and Cider everywhere in the UK.
According to legend 1 in every 8 bottles sold in the UK does NOT come from a Supermarket - so our aim is to try to reintroduce you to
your local Vineyard, Orchard or Distillery (for Production and Tastings); and your nearest Wine Merchant, Off-Licence, WIne-Bar or Delicatessen (so that you can taste, talk about and buy the wines that you like to drink, with someone who knows more than a little about the bottle and its contents,...and maybe then you can try some new and different wines based upon their knowledge and your tastes.
We have placed all Vineyards, Orchards and Craft Brewers, etc., under the UK Wines, Ciders heading. This area will grow as we
are contacted by more producers who welcome visitors for general viewing and Tasting.
Vineyard Tours, both in the UK and further afield can be found under the generic heading Wine & Knowledge Seekers.
UK Spirits Producers, including everything from Fortified Fruit Wines, to Gin, Rum, Vodka, Poitin and Bitters. I apologise to the Whisky and Whiskey Producers but we do not include them as there are too many and the site is not big enough.
We do not stock or sell any wines, and are never at the office as we are always out meeting with Growers, Importers and Suppliers, or attending Tastings and Trade Shows, so that we can sample what is available and provide comment, which you can either follow, or
ignore!
